Sleaford u3a - Open Day - Saturday, 11th May 2024:	A Report on this Hugely Successful Open Day will Follow Shortly
Gardening Group - Visit - Tuesday, 8th May 2024:	Barnsdale Gardens Geoff Hamilton's Barnsdale Gardens: A full coach of Gardening Group members visited Geoff Hamilton's Gardens at Barnsdale, near Oakham, and were entertained on arrival by a talk by Geoff's son, Nick Hamilton, who has run and expanded the gardens substantially over the year's since his father's original work for BBC Gardening programmes in the 1970s & 80s. The group then self-guided themselves around the extensive themed gardens-within-the-garden which were exhibiting a glorious range of late Spring displays, enjoyed a mid-visit break for lunch, and ended the day with an opportunity to explore the garden's nursery and purchase plants.
Members Meeting - March 2024:	Members enjoyed a talk from a former Beefeater about 'Life as a Yeoman Warder at the Tower of London'
Sleaford u3a - Inter Group Quiz - February 2024:	Inter-Group Quiz Cup This year's winners were the Fun Quiz Group who accepted the trophy from the previous winners, and organisers of this year's quiz, the German Group.
Members Meeting - Friday, 26th January 2024:	Almost 60 members attended the first Members Meeting of the year to hear about First Aid Techniques from a First Responder perspective, including the importance of immediate attention, use of a defribrillator, CPR and Abdominal Thrust techniques for various ages, and the bandaging of serious wounds - All important and serious skills, presented in an extremely entertaining and informative way.
