Currently meeting virtually.
A different book is discussed every time. Reading group 2 meets on the 4th Friday of every month with the exception of December.
It is a very informal meeting and we discuss the book which is sent to us by the library.
We pay an annual subscription for this service. Previously, we were able to choose our books but since covid we have to read whatever the library decides to send us which has resulted in a widening of horizons and sometimes reading books which are outside our comfort zone.
We rate the books from 1-5 and then at the end of the year discuss which should be the ‘book of the year’.
